William Ivory (born 1964 in Nottingham) appeared on Coronation Street between November 1989 and March 1990 as builder Eddie Ramsden.

After dropping out of the University of London, he worked as a binman and as a jobbing actor, appeared in a production of Me Mam Sez at Nottingham Playhouse. His other credits include roles in Capstick's Law, Boon, How We Used to Live, All Creatures Great and Small, Emmerdale, Common As Muck, Rose and Maloney and The Invisibles.

On the other side of the camera he has penned various works including episodes of Minder, Common As Muck, The Sins and Truckers, as well as the script for the 2010 film Made in Dagenham.
