Will Tacey (born 23rd February 1948 in London) appeared on Coronation Street in seven roles:
- Insurance assessor Peter Webster, who saw Alf Roberts about his claim for the Rovers' lorry crash in July 1979
- Insurance assessor Mr. Powell, who declared Annie Walker's car a write-off after Eddie Yeats reversed a bin wagon into it in January 1983
- Det. Constable Clark who in September 1988, re-interviewed Alec Gilroy after he'd been mugged in Daisy Street
- DI Snow in November 1995 who suspected Reg Holdsworth of being the Red Rec flasher.
- Dr Keane, the GP who saw Rita Sullivan in August 1998 when she was suffering from the after-effects of carbon monoxide poisoning
- The registrar who officiated at the wedding of Fred Elliott and Evelyn Sykes in September 2001
- The judge who in January 2008, passed sentence on Kevin Webster after he'd been charged with assaulting John Stape on Christmas Day 2007.
His other credits include roles in Crown Court, Brookside, Casualty, Titmuss Regained, Demob, Heartbeat, North Square, Emmerdale, North & South, The Street and DCI Banks, along with the films A Flame to the Phoenix, Business as Usual and The Parole Officer.
On stage, he appeared in Noah, The Merchant of Venice, Buck Ruxton, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, Dracula, Adventure in the Deep and The Odd Couple for Duke's Playhouse Company, Lancaster, along with Julius Caesar and Night of the Soul for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Other works include The Phantom of the Opera, Old King Cole, See How They Run, The Revenger's Tragedy, Measure for Measure and Tamburlaine.
