Coronation Street Wiki

William "Will" Driscoll is the athlete son of Rovers Return landlord Ben Driscoll, younger brother of Ollie and grandson of Maggie.

In 2025, Will resisted his family's move from Hull to Weatherfield until they arranged for him to keep on his personal trainer, Megan Walsh. Unbeknown to his parents, he and Megan were having a sexual relationship, despite Will being underage.

Biography[]

Will Driscoll was raised in Hull by his father Ben, with older brother Ollie. Ben's partner Eva Price brought him up as her own, with her daughter Susie completing the family unit.

Like Ben, Will had a passion for sports, playing on a track and field team in Hull. While he was still underage, Will's coach Megan Walsh groomed him into a sexual relationship, which they carried out using his training as a cover. He was devastated in 2025 when his family bought the Rovers Return Inn and relocated to Weatherfield, separating him from Megan. On the day he was due back from an athletics meeting in Aberdeen to see his new home, Will went to see Megan instead, returning a day later in order to smuggle his passport out of the Rovers so he could run away. He was spotted though and outed by Lily Platt after he paid her to bring the document to him.

Unable to admit the true reason for his opposition to Weatherfield, Will complained that the move would harm his career and threatened to quit track and field together when Eva set him up with local trainer James Bailey. When he and Megan stayed overnight in a local hotel while pretending to be at an athletics meeting in Leeds, Megan told Will that it was too risky to continue and broke off their relationship. Will told his parents that he was moving back to Hull with or without their support, prompting his grandmother Maggie to arrange to pay Megan to come over to Manchester twice a week for one-on-one training sessions instead.

Will was jealous when Megan encouraged Daniel Osbourne's interest in her.
