Wendy Albiston (born 13th January 1969 in Pontypridd, Wales) appeared on Coronation Street in three roles:
- a Midwife in August 2013 when Kylie Platt gave birth to daughter Lily.
- a Community Payback Supervisor, overseeing Beth Sutherland's stint of community service in October 2016.
- District nurse Jessica Hadaway who tended to a terminally ill Sinead Osbourne in October 2019.
Her other credits include roles in Sense & Sensibility, The Turn of the Screw, Five Daughters, Starlings, Silent Witness, The Delivery Man, Apple Tree Yard, Downton Abbey, Doctors, Humans, Bodyguard and Cold Feet.
Film parts include Provoked: A True Story, Jhootha Hi Sahi, Down Dog, Transformers: The Last Knight and Dirty God.
Stage credits include Present Laughter, Romeo and Juliet, Relative Values, Dangerous Corner, A Day in the Life of Joe Egg, Goddess, The One and Fire!
She also appears as the "straight man" with David Maybrick in their double act as "Wave & Dendy".
