When Leanne Battersby went for a fitting for a wedding dress in preparation for her forthcoming marriage to Peter Barlow, former husband Nick Tilsley agreed to accompany her. The Wedding Shop Assistant helped Leanne with her choice of dress on but on seeing the result, Nick was so overcome with feelings for her that, when she went back into the changing room, he fled the shop.
A puzzled Leanne asked the assistant where her friend had gone, but the lady was clueless.
