The Weatherfield Arms is a Newton & Ridley pub in Weatherfield, located on Westbury Street.

Events[]

Neil Fearns' wake took place at the Weatherfield Arms following his death in September 2003.

Three months later in December, Ciaran McCarthy's stag party came to the Arms, which led to the sacking of Cilla Brown as she was giving out free drinks. The police were called due to protests and Ciaran punched Dev Alahan to get himself arrested and avoid marrying Sunita Parekh.

In 2005, Norris Cole attended a speed dating event at the Arms.

In November 2012, the Weatherfield Arms vied with Rovers Return Inn for the Pub of the Year award. The Rovers' downfall came in the shape of Gloria Price, who had forged the confidential comment cards in its favour; her deceit was exposed and the prize went to Carole Evans, landlady of the Arms instead.
