Vincent Ebrahim (born 6th December 1951 in South Africa) appeared in Coronation Street between October and December 2021 as Hashim Elamin, Zeedan Nazir's crooked and violent father-in-law.
He moved to the United Kingdom in 1976 and is best known for his roles in The Kumars at No. 42 and After You've Gone. His other television credits include Comedy Lab, Clocking Off, Holby City, Bedtime, Meet the Magoons, Ideal, New Street Law, Compulsion, Hotel Trubble, The Old Guys, Little Crackers, Doctors, Ideal, Hollyoaks, Casualty and Killing Eve.
On film he has appeared in Springbok, Material, The Physician, Happy New Year, Colin Burstead, Allied, New Material and the shorts The Life Class, Ruby xx Jack and Lazy Uncle.
