The Vicar officiated at the funeral of Tina McIntyre in June 2014. He introduced the service and called on Rita Tanner and David Platt to give heartfelt eulogies. During the latter, David pointed the finger of guilt at Tina's suspected murderer, Peter Barlow, not knowing that the real culprit, Rob Donovan, was sat a few feet away.
The vicar then carried out the committal at the graveside and offered words of comfort to Tina's mother Ann.
