Verity Henry first appeared in Coronation Street under the name of "Verity-May Henry" in October 2011 as PC Nelson, who questioned Rosie Webster about her ordeal of being kidnapped by John Stape for a second time. She returned to the programme between March and August 2019 as human trafficker Rachel Healy, with a reprise of the role in August 2021.

She trained at Manchester Metropolitan School of Theatre and has also appeared in Heartbeat, A Touch of Frost, Doctors, Hebburn, Hollyoaks, Drifters, The A Word, Outings and Cold Feet.

Film roles include Confession, 3 in a Bed and Leatherbird. On stage she has appeared in At The End of The Day, Touched, Getting Married, A Doll's House, Hard Times, Blind Date, A Great War, Dumbheads, Wuthering Heights at Hurricane Speed and Monopoleyes.
