Vanessa Hehir (born 28th October 1981 in Manchester) appeared in Coronation Street as Esther Hargrave between October 2022 and January 2023.
Best known for her roles as Rosie Cartwright in Heartbeat and Sue Lowsley in Waterloo Road, she has also appeared in Grease Monkeys, Emmerdale, Holby City, Down to Earth, Hustle, Midsomer Murders, Liar, Hollyoaks and three separate characters in Doctors.
She is married to actor Leon Ockenden, who appeared on Coronation Street between 2016 and 2017 as Will Chatterton.
