Trevor Dwyer-Lynch was born in Manchester and raised both there and in Salford. An actor, presenter and comedy club compere, he trained in Drama and Performing Arts at City College, Manchester in the early 1990s and played parts in several series such as The Liver Birds, Peak Practice, Emmerdale and Hetty Wainthropp Investigates before making his debut in a single episode of Coronation Street as a Barman in January 2000.

After almost two years, he reappeared in the Street as Street Cars taxi driver Patrick Tussel and appeared from 2002-2005.

A versatile character actor, he has since appeared in Casualty, Survivors and The Bill. amongst other film and theatre productions.
