Travis Robby was part of a gang who harassed Roy Cropper to the point where he had a heart attack. The genial cafe owner had undergone a traumatic year after being wrongfully accused of the murder of teenager Lauren Bolton, something for which he received much abuse from locals who didn't know him as well as others did. Even when the police arrested Nathan Curtis for the crime, there were some who enjoyed continuing to take out their own frustrations on Roy and the gang was amongst them. Leaving the sanctuary of the cafe one day to take a flask of soup to Shona Platt who had reported in sick, the gang of yobs encountered Roy on Victoria Street and began to heap abuse on him. He retreated to Victoria Gardens, but the yobs followed him, filming his torment on their phones. Carla Connor came to his rescue and forcefully told them to do one, but the damage was already done, and Roy began to suffer the first symptoms of a heart attack. Taken to hospital he underwent heart surgery to compensate for a stent which had been fitted the previous June and which had now failed.
Carla was one of several close friends and family who anxiously waited for news of his recovery, and she was not best pleased when she found out that the yobs had uploaded the footage that they had taken to social media. Encountering the gang again a week later in the Weatherfield Precinct, Carla told them that they were lowlife scum for what they had done to Roy, but they were unfazed and told her that it was a pity that he hadn't croaked.
Furious with them, she spotted Travis soon afterwards about to cycle past her car on his bike and opened the door of her Audi at just the exact moment, causing the lad to launch over his handlebars and land badly on the road, needing an ambulance. She drove off, not realising that the incident had been witnessed by Betsy Swain who blackmailed Carla into giving her a permanent job at Underworld.
- The character's name and personal details were given in Episode 11312 (15th July 2024) but he was always credited as "Yob 2". His second appearance was on the footage that the gang had uploaded to social media.
