Tony Ellis was a salesman at Casey's Autos. In June 1989, Jean Casey gave son Mark and Kevin Webster a car for banger racing, and told Tony to expect them. Tony had just finished dealing with an elderly couple when the lads arrived and instantly eyed up an Escort in the forecourt. Tony drew their attention towards the car which Jean had picked out for them, but the lads thought it was too big and took the Escort, telling Tony they'd square it up with Jean - although Tony seemed less than convinced.
