Tom Watson (born "Thomas Welsh Watson" on 21st March 1932 in Auchinleck, Scotland; died 18th August 2001 in St. Andrews, Scotland) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in December 1965 as the opportunistic Frank Turner, who blackmailed Jack Walker; and he returned to the programme in July 1968 as Mr Bright, in search of his "missing" daughter, Audrey.

On stage, he appeared in productions of Fool for Love, At Our Table, The Government Inspector and Victoria.
