Tom Price (born 28th May 1959 in Salford) appeared on Coronation Street between January and April 1982 as electrician Alec Hobson.
With an ambition to be an actor from childhood, he was sacked from a clerk's job and managed to obtain a place at RADA, graduating in 1979.
His other credits include roles in The Glamour Girls, Juliet Bravo, Bread, The Bill, Gruey and Crossfire.
On stage, he appeared in a 1980 production of The Cherry Orchard at the Northcott Theatre, Exeter.
