Tom Gowling (born 30th August 1912 in Brampton, Cumbria; died 19th May 1984 in Sefton, Merseyside) played four roles in Coronation Street:
- Tom, a relative of Jack Walker's in March 1961
- A Taxi Driver in December 1967
- A Workman who beat Albert Tatlock at dominoes in October 1970
- The Master of Ceremonies at an RNLI charity ball in December 1971.
His other credits include The Odd Man, How We Used to Live, Hadleigh, Emmerdale, Justice, Crown Court, The Main Chance and Secret Diaries.
He was married to actress Penny Gowling (née Penelope Davis), who herself appeared on Coronation Street in five minor roles.
