Tom Ferguson was a smooth-talking hairdresser at Audrey's salon from 1999 to 2000.
When his oppressive father Duggie tracked him down, Tom, blaming Duggie for his mother Laura's death, refused to play happy families and left Weatherfield for Leeds.
Biography[]

Tom had just finished a hairdressing course at Granston Technical College, having worked at Anton Dubois and Wildcut for his work experience. He was only supposed to be working at Audrey Roberts's salon for three weeks, but his smooth-talking soon made him a favourite with the female customers.
Following his father's death in 2002, Tom didn't return for the funeral as he was working on a cruise ship and thought it hypocritical to come back to Weatherfield. His solicitor confirmed in a phone call to Shelley Unwin that Tom would be able to collect any inheritance money from anywhere in the world.
