Thelma Falls-Hand (2nd November 1925 - 10th January 2020) appeared in Coronation Street in December 1964 as Mrs Nelson, the manageress of the Egremont Hotel where Annie Walker stayed after a short-term split with Jack.

She also appeared in The Annual Stocktaking, a 1966 episode of the Coronation Street spin-off Pardon the Expression.

A regular actress with Granada Television, she also appeared in The Man in Room 17, The Liars, Mr Rose, City '68, The War of Darkie Pilbeam (written by Tony Warren) and The Dustbinmen.

For the BBC, she appeared in two radio plays, Pam and Dr. Syntax and The Honest Man.
