Terence Harvey (October 1944 - 7th September 2017) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly appearing between November and December 2000 as John Harris QC, the barrister who represented Jim McDonald at Weatherfield Crown Court during his sentencing for the murder of Tony Horrocks; and he returned to the programme in May 2003 as Tim Nicholson, the solicitor who attempted to clear up Richard Hillman's financial dealings after his death.

His other credits include roles in On the Line, Widows, Miracles Take Longer, The Detective, Gentlemen and Players, The Chief, Families, The Bill, Casualty, City Central, Silent Witness, The Courtroom, Downton Abbey, Doctors, EastEnders, Mr Selfridge, Holby City, Toast of London and Waterloo Road, along with films Sky Bandits, The Phantom of the Opera, Secrets & Lies, From Hell, Johnny English, If Only, The Trial of the King Killers, The White Countess, Basic Instinct 2, The Damned United, Mr. Nice, Tezz and I Give It a Year.

On stage he has appeared in the Royal Shakespeare Company productions of The Merry Wives of Windsor, Cymberline, Twelfth Night, Othello, Julius Caesar and The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby, and in Beauty and the Beast at the Old Vic, London.
