Actor, television presenter and radio broadcaster Ted Robbins (born 11th August 1955 in Liverpool) has appeared on Coronation Street in two minor roles: firstly in September 2000 as a club DJ where the Underworld girls took bride-to-be Linda Sykes on her hen night; and returned to the programme in the autumn of 2009 as Officer McAlister - a guard at Highfield Prison where John Stape was incarcerated.
