Not a "wanted list" page, and no discussion prior to creation. Although there is merit, some of the information is misleading (ie. both Deirdre and Fiz were found "not guilty" subsequent to being sentenced). Karen2310 (talk)
- The idea has some merits but it should have been suggested in the forums first.Jtomlin1uk (talk) 10:04, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
- The creator is a regular over on the Hollyoaks Wiki. We have a list of trials page (Emmerdale & EastEnders wikis do not) so I suppose they thought the same idea works well here? Danielroxheaps 02:24, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
Personally I think the page should stand, with any inaccuracies ironed out of course. Carterboi33 (talk) 02:28, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
- Well, this page has been around for some two months now without the world ending. I stand by my belief that it has merits but it does need cleaning up and does need corrections and additions (such as Swindley's trial for driving without a licence in 1965 and Ena for shoplifting in 1966). Also, I think very strongly that the last two columns should be combined as the current "notes" column has too many blank entries.Jtomlin1uk (talk) 09:00, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- Perhaps it might be an idea to add more notes? Things such as "x was released early for good behaviour/escaped prison", "x served [time] of their sentence"? Danielroxheaps 09:20, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- Possibly to the first but not to the second. Such things are self-evident and still leave a gaping blank space when the sentence was a fine. Best to combine.Jtomlin1uk (talk) 10:18, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- Yeah I agree with what you've said. I can add the additional notes in later as soon as I've found notes for all of them.Jstb99 12:42, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

- Agree with what who's said? Please don't go adding in notes that are self-evident.Jtomlin1uk (talk) 17:40, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- I agree with what you said, when you agreed with the first option of adding notes on whether 'X' was released early. I think it would also be good to add if 'X' was wrongly convicted, or pleaded guilty to the crime. What do you think?Jstb99 20:13, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
Thoughts:
- We need more clarification on what goes in the list and what doesn't. For example, Willie Piggott was in court for bribery in Episode 450 (5th April 1965) - this wasn't seen on-screen but was referred to, so does this count? Likewise Norman Leach in Episode 1313 (15th August 1973).
- I'd like to reduce the number of columns, either by following JT's suggestion, removing the numbers (is there any need for them to be numbered?), rewriting them as two tables - one for the magistrates court and one for the crown court, or a combination of these.
- More missing court appearances: Steve McDonald in Episode 3336 (24th January 1992), Des Barnes in Episode 3305 (15th November 1991), and Kevin and Steve in Episode 3526 (9th April 1993). This really should have been made in a sandbox first to get the full list ironed out. David (talk) 20:34, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
