As one of the earliest pages written, this falls short of the level of detail we now expect. However, the background information is the only section where this really hurts the quality of the article. Two other issues are the publicity shot in the infobox rather than a screencap and the lack of appendices. A day's work maybe? | |||||||

I'm confused about Jack's brother(s?). Arthur Walker shows up from time to time and is referred to. Another brother, Jim, appears in a 1961 episode, but only Arthur is later refered to (and only Arthur is mentioned on Jack's page on Corrie.net). Is it possible they're the same character whose name was changed?
Also, if Jack's name is John, why does he call himself Jack? David 20:32, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
- I suspect the actor who played Jim Walker (Kenneth Mosley) was no longer available when later appearances were needed (according to IMDB, it's his only ever credited appearance) and in the 1960's the production team were pretty careful to cast the same actors in the same parts. As for Jack/John, I think it's only in fairly recent years that Jack has become recognised as a name in its own. Back then, Jack was a familiar version of John - JFK was known as Jack in the Kennedy family.--Jtomlin1uk 08:48, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
Young Jack[]
Out of interest, where has that photo of a younger jack come from? And is that the actor himself?
- It came from one of Daran Little's books on the history of the street and yes, it is a picture of a younger Arthur Leslie.--Jtomlin1uk 09:11, October 13, 2011 (UTC)
Jack's Death Date[]
I am confused about Jack's death date. In Episode 1608 which aired on 14th June 1976, Elsie asks Annie how long it has been since Jack died and she states "June 30th 1970... It'll be the anniversary in about a fortnight". So is the date July 8th as stated on the page or June 30th as Annie stated in the later episode? 86.13.7.69 10:54, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
Another sister[]
on the episode dated 17 December 1980, Annie mentions one of Jack's sisters, Alice, to Bet. Should I add this on or not?
This is correct, I have now added Alice. Carterboi33 (talk) 15:00, April 15, 2019 (UTC)
