Is it the case that the young man outside the cinema -played by Graham Fellowes- had, like Gail, been "stood up"?70s Fan (talk) 10:24, July 25, 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, he explained to Gail that he had been "stood up" and asked if she wanted to go into the cinema with him instead. As he'd already assumed that Gail had been let down by her date, she quickly made up a story that she was was waiting for a girlfriend who sometimes worked late. The man told her that if she changed her mind and wanted to sit with him, he'd be "downstairs, on the back row... on the right-hand side." --Karen2310 (talk) 10:34, July 25, 2013 (UTC)
