The Stripper, with the stage name of "Apples", was employed by Kate Connor's friend Lolly to attend the hen night in the Viaduct Bistro marking the forthcoming nuptials of Kate to Rana Habeeb. The two brides hadn't wanted a big night in the first place but had been railroaded into it by a determined Lolly who had first had the idea of a drag queen but this had been firmly vetoed.
When "Apples" arrived, the two women had already been informed of her impending presence and were thus placed to quietly tell her that there had been a mistake. The stripper demanded her money and Rana quietly, but with determination, told her that Lolly would be the one to pay her as it had been her idea in the first place.
