The Station Manager of Weatherfield Community Fire Station talked to Eileen Grimshaw in October 2011 when she arrived at the station looking for firefighter Paul Kershaw to confront him. The manager went to inform Paul that Eileen had arrived and told him not to disappear.
Following the Rovers fire in March 2013 and the subsequent death of firefighter Toni Griffiths, Eileen went to speak to the Station Manager, concerned that Paul had become withdrawn following the loss of his colleague. Paul however refuted Eileen's claims and the manager advised that the couple went home to talk things through.
