Square Apartments is a luxury apartment complex that was developed by property developer and businessman Tony Gordon, which are located in Wigan. The newly developed apartments were built in 2008, but due to the economic recession later that year Tony had difficulty selling most of them. After nearly killing his enemy Jed Stone on Christmas Day, Tony allowed Jed to stay in one of the apartments rent free in order to keep him away from Weatherfield, an offer a terrified Jed was happy to accept.
