Sophie James appeared on Coronation Street between November 2004 and May 2005 as Justine Davenport, the wife of philandering car salesman, Ian Davenport.
She graduated in Italian and English Literature from the University of Warwick in 1992. from RADA in 2000 and has since gained a Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (Performing Arts) from Cornwall College.
Her only other known on-screen credits were for two episodes of The Bill in 2005.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Romeo and Juliet and Remembrance of Things Past for the National Theatre.
