Sonia Benjamin G. A. Ibrahim (born 9th January 1989 in Burnley) appeared on Coronation Street between December 2016 and October 2017 as Mel Maguire, working under Nathan Curtis as an assistant at Supreme Tanning.
Her other credits include roles in Whiskey Cavalier and Waterloo Road.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Macbeth, Fifteen Minutes and When Both Sides Surrender.
