Siobhan Davies was a friend of Alya Nazir. In June 2014 whilst hanging out at a club, they crossed paths with two lads Gary Windass and Jason Grimshaw and they began to get chatting. After a few drinks Jason left, however Gary chose to remain behind with the girls, despite the fact he had a girlfriend to return home to. After Gary and Alya shared a kiss on the dance floor, he later spent the night with her at Siobhan's flat, but regretted his actions when he awoke the following morning and went back home at the earliest opportunity.
