Simon Francis Lenagan (born 21st August 1970 in St Helens, Lancashire) appeared on Coronation Street between November and December 2002 as Alex Jordan, a painter and decorator who had a short-term affair with Sally Webster.
After leaving drama school, he ran his own theatre company, produced a West End play and set up a telemarketing enterprise for out of work actors. He is a director of the educational software company InnovEd, joint-founder of Just Voices voice-over agency and the Youth & Community Director at Oxford United Football Club.
His other television credits include roles in The Bill, The Grand, Heartbeat, Messiah 2: Vengeance is Mine, Holby City, EastEnders, Casualty, Treason and Happy Valley.
Film roles include Basic Instinct 2, Run Fatboy Run, W.M.D., Born of War, Spectre, The Foreigner and All the Money in the World.
On stage, he appeared in productions of The Exiles, Stand Up, The Greenhouse Effect, Penetrator, Room at the Top and Shivered.
