The unnamed shoplifter was a young woman who in January 2005 attempted to flog stolen razors in the Weatherfield Arms. She took a shine to Charlie Stubbs, asking if he'd buy her a drink and suggesting that the pair would have a good time together. Feigning interest, he took her outside and slammed her against a wall, viciously telling her she could take her razors and slit her wrists with them.
- Amanda Tyrell made a one-off appearance in August 2005 as Becky Granger (credited as "Beggar"), a role which would be taken over full-time by Katherine Kelly in February 2006.
