Shirley Walton was a girlfriend of Ray Langton, who was seeing him when he arrived to stay in Weatherfield in 1968. She had competition for his affections in the shape of Lucille Hewitt, and told Ray she'd kill her if she saw them together. But Lucille was equally determined to have her man, and warned Shirley off Ray.
