Shannon May Brenda Flynn (born 22nd August 1996 in Oldham) appeared on Coronation Street intermittently between March and September 2016 as Lauren, the ringleader of a gang of schoolgirls at Weatherfield High, who bullied Bethany Platt.
She attended the Starstruck Theatre School in Manchester.
Best known for her role of Emily James in Waterloo Road from 2009 to 2012, her other credits include roles in Shameless, Holby City, Scott & Bailey, Doctors and Flatmates.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella and Macbeth.
For radio, she was heard as Ruthie in the BBC Radio 4 play Lost Property: The Year My Mother Went Missing.
While for younger viewers, she appeared in Dani's Castle and presented Friday Download (and appeared in a movie adaptation of the programme, Up All Night) plus continuity links on the CBBC channel.
