Shania was a fellow holidaymaker staying at the Hotel Ta Cenc in Gozo who Steve McDonald took a shine to during an impromptu holiday in Malta with Eileen Grimshaw in August 2007.
Eileen became suspicious and took photographs of Steve and Shania kissing on stage at the karaoke bar. The pair snuck away to his hotel room whilst Eileen was singing, and Steve was horrified to discover that Shania was not all "she" seemed.
