Sean Hughes (10th November 1965 - 16th October 2017) was a comedian, writer and actor who appeared in Coronation Street between June and July 2007 as Pat Stanaway.
Sean was perhaps best known for being a team captain on the panel show Never Mind the Buzzcocks between 1996 and 2002. As an actor he also appeared in Casualty, The Last Detective and Agatha Christie's Marple.
