Samuel Robertson (born 11th October 1985 in Dundee) plays Adam Barlow on Coronation Street. He originally appeared from December 2004 to April 2007 and then returned to the role from November 2016 onwards. The second actor to be cast in the role, he took over from Iain De Caestecker - who had last appeared in July 2003.

He studied Drama and English at Manchester University, but dropped out aged eighteen to concentrate on his Coronation Street role.

His other credits include roles in Push, Being Victor, Beaver Falls, Bedlam and Stonemouth, along with the films Hot Hot Hot and Dementamania.

In 2013, Robertson appeared as a housemate on Celebrity Big Brother, but he was the second evictee of the series.
