Samantha Benson was the girlfriend of Billy Walker during his time in Jersey.
While travelling to the Isle of Man, Samantha decided to visit Billy at the Rovers in Weatherfield. Interested in reigniting their relationship, Billy was able to convince her to stay the night and she later informed him that there were people after him as his time to pay his debts was running out.
Turning to Rita Fairclough, Billy attempted to get some money from her by pretending to want to help her invest her savings - however, she told him she was not interested. Having witnessed Billy and Rita's closeness, Sam agreed to go out on a date with Mike Baldwin - who later took her to the airport, not before she was able to scold Billy for not being a gentleman.
