Ruth Kettlewell (born "Ruth Anne Berry" on 13th April 1913 in Worcester, died 17th July 2007 in Haringey, London) appeared in the untransmitted Coronation Street spin-off Rest Assured in 1972.
She began in amateur dramatics after her marriage to the Reverend Robert Kettlewell in 1932 and joined the Women's Land Army in World War II. She moved into repertory theatre shortly before Robert's death from scarlet fever in 1952.
Her other television credits included roles in Potts, Gangbuster, Emergency-Ward 10, No Hiding Place, Here's Harry, Swallows and Amazons, All Gas and Gaiters, Harry Worth, The Further Adventures of Lucky Jim, The World of Beachcomber, Here Come the Double Deckers!, On the Buses, Bachelor Father, Hope and Keen's Crazy House and its sequel Hope & Keen's Crazy Bus, Now, Take My Wife, Boy Dominic, The Georgian House, Dominic, The Famous Five, How's Your Father?, In Loving Memory, All Creatures Great and Small and Heartbeat.
Film roles included Room at the Top, Friends and Neighbours, Sons and Lovers, Clue of the New Pin, Only Two Can Play, The Yellow Teddy Bears, Press for Time, Oh!
