Roy Hudd

Roy Hudd OBE (born 16th May 1936 - 15th March 2020 in Croydon) played the role of undertaker Archie Shuttleworth in Coronation Street on a recurring basis between 2002 and 2010. His other television appearances include One Foot in the Grave, Lipstick on Your Collar, Ashes to Ashes and Call the Midwife. He has also performed on stage and on radio, and authored several books.
