Rosalind Sophia Bennett (born 13th May 1963 in Rochdale) appeared on Coronation Street between March and May 1986 as Tina Wagstaffe, a short-term girlfriend of Curly Watts.
She began appearing in amateur productions at the age of twelve and after leaving school, she studied at the Drama Centre in London.
Her other television credits include roles in Heart of the Country, Campaign, The Manageress, Zorro, Growing Rich, Covington Cross and A Statement of Affairs.
Film roles include American Roulette, Dealers, Vroom, Innocent Lies and Restoration.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Lyric for a Tango, Juno and the Paycock, On and The Crucible.
She is married to actor Linus Roache (son of William Roache), who himself appeared on Coronation Street in two roles.
