Roland Oliver appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly as Reverend Gilmour of St. Ruth's Church who officiated at the funeral service of Joy Fishwick in February 2011; and he returned to the programme in July 2017 as Angus Spellman, the homophobic father of Billy Mayhew's late partner Drew Spellman.
He is known for his roles in EastEnders, All the King's Men and Bad Girls.
