Roger Rowland (born 1st April 1935 in York, died 14th January 2011 in Toronto, Canada) appeared on Coronation Street in four roles:
- Conservative party canvasser Fred Marsh in September 1964
- Amorous coach driver Frank Hoyle in August 1967
- Belstaff Hotel manager Mr Plummer in March 1986
- Valuer Mr Craven in August 1989.
His other credits include Quatermass and the Pit, The Villains, Orlando, Softly Softly, The Caesars, The Dustbinmen, A Family at War, Armchair Theatre, a regular part in Special Branch, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, The Return of Sherlock Holmes, First Among Equals, Emmerdale and Boon, as well as a role in the film An American Werewolf in London.
His radio work included parts in Saturday-Night Theatre, Afternoon Theatre and a 1989 dramatisation of The Brothers Karamazov.
