Robert Whelan (born 1946 in Bromley, Kent) appeared on Coronation Street in five roles:
- Mr Myers, the prosecution barrister at Alan Bradley's trial heard at Weatherfield Crown Court in October 1989
- Jim Chester, who attended the wedding of Peter Barlow and Jessica Midgeley in August 1990
- Dennis Pooley, father of Rovers' barmaid Tanya Pooley, who appeared in February 1994
- Lingerie retailer and Underworld client Harry Hollands, appearing in both February 2000 and March 2002
- Businessman Frank Taylor between May and June 2007.

On stage, he appeared in productions of Chips With Everything, The Lady's Not for Burning, The Royal Hunt of the Sun, Rookery Nook, Spring and Port Wine, Candida, The Crucible, Look Back in Anger, Aladdin, The Constant Wife, King Lear and Of Cabbages and Kings for Salisbury Playhouse. Other works include Gaslight, The Silver Tassie, The Man who Came to Dinner, The Devil's Disciple, Our Gracie, Pennine Pleasures, Death of a Salesman, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, The Birthday Party, 'Allo 'Allo, Final Daze and No Fat Juliets.
He is married to actress Deborah Fairfax, who herself appeared on Coronation Street.
