Robert Maxfield (born 1957 in Manchester) appeared on Coronation Street in six roles:
- Julian the pianist, appearing intermittently between June 1986 and January 1994
- Neighbourhood watch co-ordinator, Maurice Pond in June 2007
- Horace Steel, a temporary assistant at The Kabin in November 2009
- Bishop Redmond in May 2015
- A pianist playing for patients at Weatherfield General in September 2017
- Eric Middleton, a customer of Shuttleworth's Independent Funeral Services, in July 2021.
His other credits include roles in Cold Feet, Heartbeat, Emmerdale, Where the Heart Is, Blue Murder and Survivors, along with the films Fanny and Elvis, Limp and The Rochdale Pioneers.
