Robert Ashcroft appeared on Coronation Street in December 2017 as a Man involved in an altercation outside Weatherfield Magistrates Court that led to the stabbing of Billy Mayhew.

He trained at Cartwright Drama Studio and graduated from London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art with a BA (Hons) in Professional Acting.

His other onscreen credits include Queer as Folk and Foyle's War, the TV movie In One Man's Life and the feature film Surprise.

On stage he has appeared in productions of Others, All My Sons, Othello, Breezeblock Park, The Country Wife, For King and Country, Around the World in 80 Days, April in Paris, Solioquisin and Ginnel.
