Rita Howard appeared on Coronation Street in two different roles: firstly in September 1971 and March 1977 as Helen Ormerod, the sister of Janet Reid; and she returned to the programme in December 1981 as a Woman Customer in The Kabin.
Her other credits include A Family at War, Last of the Summer Wine and Harry's Game.
