Richard Moore (born 5th September 1942 in Burnley) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in October 1976 as Renee Bradshaw's fiancé, Harry McClean; and he returned to the programme in both July and October 1984 as Audrey Potter's fiancé, George Hepworth.
His other television credits include roles in Diary of a Young Man, The Likely Lads, Crown Court, Sweet Nothings, Danger: Marmalade at Work, To Have and to Hold, Shadow of the Noose, The Bill, Band of Gold, McCallum and Goldplated, along with the regular role of Jarvis Skelton in Emmerdale from 2002 to 2005.
On stage, he appeared in productions of Henry V, The Thwarting of Baron Bolligrew, The Investigation, Hamlet, Macbeth, The Hollow Crown, The Dumb Waiter, Under Milk Wood, Doctor Faustus, Waiting for Godot, Troilus and Cressida, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Romeo and Juliet, Richard II, Frankenstein, The Great White Hope, Oedipus Tyrannos, Antigone, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Winter's Tale and Pericles for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Other works include The Love Match, Dandy Dick, The Connection, Hedda Gabler, Brighton Rock, How the Other Half Loves and The Illusion.
