Richard Harrington (born 12th March 1975 in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales), appeared on Coronation Street as Owen Williams. The son of Mr Williams, owner of the Happy Days Holiday Park - the Websters, Platts and Battersby families holidayed at the caravan site in 1999.
His other TV and film credits include roles in The District Nurse, Screen One, Civvies, Wales Playhouse, Tiger Bay, A Mind to Kill, The Hidden City, Rehab, Hustle, Silent Witness, Spooks, Dalziel and Pascoe, Bleak House, Daddy's Girl, Y Pris, Holby Blue, New Tricks, Collision, Midsomer Murders, Lark Rise to Candleford, Casualty, Alys and Hinterland. He won a BAFTA Cymru Award for his portrayal of a young gay hustler in the film Dafydd.
On stage he has toured with Fiction Factory/Y Cwmni's productions of Ed Thomas' plays House of America, Gas Station Angel and Stone City Blue, as well as penning two episodes of the TV series Crash.
