Richard Elis is a Welsh actor who appeared as Nigel Kipling in 2018 and returned as the same character in 2019. Nigel is a leading member of Weatherfield Amateur Dramatics society and a friend of Mary.
Richard Elis has appeared in numerous TV, Theatre and Film productions including on Tv Ordinary Lies, Doctors, Casualty, Gwaith/Cartref, and played Huw Edwards on Eastenders in the late 90’s. Films include Songbird, Wild Honey Pie!, Black Mountain Poets, Bittersweet Symphony, In Absentia and Albi a Noa. He has also produced the Bafta Cymru nominated film Pink Wall. His theatre credits include 2023, The Dumb Show, Hard Times, Accidental Death of An Anarchist.
He has also appeared in numerous advertising campaigns across Europe and the UK ranging from Carnext to Bisto to WKD!
