Rebecca Manley appeared in Coronation Street in September 2003 as WPC Marsh who arrested an innocent Jack Duckworth for growing cannabis. She returned to the programme in February and April 2020 as the audiologist who diagnosed Aled Winter-Brown's deafness and fitted his hearing aids.

She has also appeared in Casualty, The Ruth Rendell Mysteries, Always and Everyone, Holby City, The Bill, This Is England, Emmerdale, No Offence, Lifeline, The Five, Last Tango in Halifax, The Moorside, Electric Dreams and The A Word.

Film roles include The Jealous God, The Selfish Giant, Lifeline and Lady Macbeth. Theatre roles include a revival of Billy Liar.

She is also a writer working with the West Yorkshire Playhouse, the National Youth Theatre with productions at the Lowry, Salford, the Latitude Festival, Soho Theatre and the Arcola. She has written two plays for SMASHfest, a STEM arts festival for young people at the Albany theatre. She was a member of the Royal Court Writers group in 2015. In 2018 she was a participant on the BBCtv Drama Writers’ Scheme, partnered with Kudos North.
